After having the honor of preparing your taxes over the years, I have made the decision to retire. It has been an honor to serve you, and I sincerely thank you for trusting me to help you navigate through the complex and ever-changing web of tax laws and regulations.
It is very important to me that you get the best possible service and pricing for your future tax preparation needs. I have determined Korhorn Financial Group (KFG) to be the best fit due to their high professional standards and extensive experience. As of October 22, 2020, I will be selling my practice to Korhorn Financial Group.

How does your tax system differ from Steve Goldberg's?
Our process will feel quite similar to the process you followed with Steve. In January, we will send out tax organizers to help you collect your documents. When your documents are gathered and you are ready, we can prepare your tax return in a few different ways. The first way is to schedule a meeting to have one of our tax advisors prepare the return with you. This allows you to ask any questions, and often the tax advisor can offer tax planning strategies to help you with next year's return. Typically this takes about 45 minutes to an hour, and at the end of the meeting, your taxes will be complete. To schedule your meeting, call 574-247-5898.
The second way is for you to provide us your documents, either through uploading to our secure website, dropping off at our various office locations, or by mail or fax. We will then complete your return, within two weeks, and then notify you when they are complete. When you come to pick them up, a tax advisor will go over and explain the return with you and answer any questions you may have.
Do I need to bring in any past paperwork?
Steve Goldberg worked with us to make this transition seamless for you. We have copies of your prior-year tax returns and supporting documents should we ever need to assist you with a notice, audit, or question. If you have any additional paperwork you would like to share with us, you are more than welcome to.
