Cara Poelstra joined Korhorn Financial Group in 2026 as a Retirement Plans Administrator, bringing extensive experience in education and business administration. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and taught from 1997 through 2020. In 2020, she transitioned into the private sector, serving in administrative roles for several organizations before joining KFG.
Cara was referred to KFG by a friend and was drawn to the firm’s core values and client-focused culture. She has been married since 1990 and is the proud mother of three adult children, all of whom are married, as well as a devoted GiGi to her grandson. Outside of the office, Cara enjoys time at the beach, long walks, and photography; curating and preserving meaningful moments through framed prints and thoughtfully assembled photo albums.
